twenty years worldwide and mostly the Southern Hemisphere and the
East. |

In 1981 started his own shipping agency (Star shipping), which
was later sold in its entirety to the staff in 1997, and now remains
as a Consultant only.
By relinquishing his total interest in Star Shipping, Yoav was able, from the outset, to remain exclusive and dedicated,
to the interests of the Ship-owner, the Principals and the ships that they entrusted to him .
Yoav was privileged to bring the first cellular vessel to the port of Durban in the mid seventies and participated in initiating other launchings.

Through his visits in the ports of Africa (from a Bosun in the first "Black Star" ship to a Master Mariner), acquainting himself in all facets of port operation participated and promoted positive developments in port operation.
Through his experience in port operations worldwide, Far East, North Europe and around Africa, etc, from Freetown to Masawa, from a Bosun to a Captain, prides himself in dedication with sincere respect to the port operation, its performance and its labour, which acts as the main artery to the country’s economy.
